 The first step in compiling your family branch is determining the Steere Family Branch Designation that identifies its placement on the Family Tree. (Refer to Software Download and Data Entry Guidelines for further information regarding the SFBD.) Completing and submitting the following form will allow us to assist you in this determination, and to provide you the necessary tools and authorities to successfully participate in the Genealogy Project. You will receive a confirmation email containing a unique user ID and password that you will need to accomplish certain tasks, such as submitting a family branch. Be sure to keep this information available in a safe place for future reference. Access to the Branches are generally reserved for validated and registered family members. If you have a special situation for which you would like the Association to consider granting access (i.e..- you are a historian or educator), please complete the form and indicate your intended use of the information. Use of information within the Steere Family Branches is to be used for personal, historic, and/or educational purposes ONLY. Any commercial application or use of the data herein is strictly forbidden. Such misuses include electronic or hardcopy publication which, without written approval from the Steere Family Association, will be considered infringement of copyright and subject to appropriate legal remedy.
