The Farm at the Turn of the LAST Century...

All the farm outbuildings still stand today with the exception of the windmill and the large barn seen in the right hand side of the photograph.  The windmill and a portion of the barn blew down during the hurricane of 1938.  The remainder of the barn caught fire and burned down the following year.  Plans are currently being developed to rebuild the barn in the near future for use as an Agricultural Museum and Education Resource Center.
